Not a House Wife

Recently I have been on the phone with various agencies that have money, asking for it for a car loan and some money toward our addition. According to these professionals I am officially (check the box) a house wife. Gag! Anyone that knows me even a little bit would surely disagree. I am not a house wife. That brings to mind someone who lives to clean and cook and has a very organized system for doing so. Andres doesn't like that I characterize myself as an unemployed teacher. He prefers not currently working. Yeah that is a big difference. Forget the technicalities - the reality is that I am not employed or bringing home bacon, deli meat or even a hot dog these days. I can't even say that I'm a stay at home mom because in my opinion that implies actually staying at home with the children. I stay home without them for a good chunk of the day. So I am not a house wife. I'm not a stay at home mom. I'm a ...... Family Coordinator? If Obama can be a community organizer, why can't I be a Family Organizer?
