Emma definitely lives up to the impish reputation of fairies. She is in love with her sister yet refuses to be ruled by her. She is strong and opinionated. She is talking a lot. Sometimes it still catches me by surprise when she says a coherent sentence because I'm not expecting to hear that come out of her mouth.
She likes to climb. Right now she can climb into her crib with the help of a strategically placed box, but then she can't get out. So she jumps so high and hard that I am waiting for the day that she breaks the bed support entirely!
Emma is not a negotiator. She would rather not eat than strike a deal with me to eat some vegetables alongside the pasta. Andres has been successful at coaxing Emma to wolf down broccoli when she knew she'd get a piece of cheese in between the broccoli. Emma loves cheese above all other food. Cheese alone is best, but second best is atop some kind of pasta. She likes soup quite a bit, but pretty much everything else is pretty much up in the air.

Ahhh. . . getting SO BIG. So happy to hear she has some midwest in her with that love of cheese! As always, love to see the updates of your beautiful family!!
