Day 5 - Enraptured by Rapunzel

Lorelei and Emma are absolutely obsessed with princesses of all types, but Rapunzel in particular. Lorelei has brought home at least 5 different versions of the tale and of course they both saw the movie Tangled. For Emma it was particularly exciting because it was her first big trip to the theater with a friend.

In celebration of summer and all the reading that I expect the girls to be doing I bought them each a version of Tangled. Emma's is the parent-reading-to-child kind of book. All the scary parts of the story are skipped and it is a whole different story of a very exciting day. Lorelei's version has 26 chapters. Last night she was on chapter 11 already and she has been reading away this morning as well. I imagine she'll finish it up some time today. It is just the most amazing thing to listen to her read. Magical.
