The girls put on a show for Andres, Sabrina and me last night in the "theater" (playhouse). They thought it was super exciting because until yesterday they didn't realize that there was a ceiling light! Wow playing at all hours of the day and night are possible with a light. Or in this case any hour is a good hour for a show. They set up little chairs for us that I abandoned after several minutes of pain and Andres likewise vacated after falling over and almost breaking a chair. They decorated the theater with the bug cutouts and there was some kind of an explanation for that decor that I have already forgotten. The two older girls each danced a solo, then a duet. Sabrina joined in the dancing and also tried to be the DJ, repeatedly pumping up he volume on the music. Lorelei did an Oprah style interview of Emma (where that came from I have no idea because I am not an Oprah show fan or a watcher of any talk tv shows. Could it be from NPR?).

I loved the whole thing. I want to bottle that freedom and happiness and store it in a jar for later on in their lives when things become more complicated. Or maybe take a bath in it myself. I hope that there are many more such days and evenings to come for us and the playhouse.
