Day 7 - Borrowed Pool

The plan was simple. Swim in the morning. Wear them out. Nap. Go back in the evening swim again. Everyone sleeps well all night long. Simple. It didn't work out quite as planned. Sabrina refused to nap. I was suffering a head cold and felt like lying down on the ground - anywhere really - and closing my eyes. Lorelei and Emma both swam, swam, swam. Then we went home for lunch and my much anticipated grand nap. (Imagine The Npping House here.) It didn't happen. Sabrina napped for 3 hours making up for the missed morning siesta. The other two girls just played and fought and did everything but sleep.

That evening - like every evening this week - was marred by a menacing sky so no second round of swimming, but it was really for the best given how unrested we were!
