Emma returned to the ENT after a month on antibiotics and a hearing test. One ear had improved in appearance, but there was still fluid in both ears, so she is scheduled for tube surgery on August 16th. (Shh! She doesn't know that yet.)
After the doctor's office, at Lorelei's request, we went to the play in the park near the apartment that we lived in. It was hot and muggy. (Those are legitimately two separate things, right? I can't be muggy without the hot, but I can be hot without the muggy. )
Sabrina is generally under my feet, but even more so when I am cooking. I have taken to wearing an apron most days and Sabrina, being the incredibly smart cookie that she is, indicated with great clarity that she wanted to put an apron on as well and help me in the kitchen. So cute.
