Day 18 Movie & McDonald's
Thanks to Lindsay I learned that on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings select movie theaters play kids movies for a dollar during the summer break. It may have been Sabrina's first movie theater experience, but I'm not too sure. I guess since I failed to document it, we won't count it if it really was.
So we enjoyed Yogi Bear on the big screen and then headed to the nearby McDonald's for lunch. I know that the girls would have loved a Happy Meal for the toy of course which was a doll. But... they don't need any more toys and we don't need any more *stuff* in our house. Plus of course the extra cost so instead they got their choice of entree and milk. I bought a small fry for us to share (even with the four of us we didn't eat them all). The best part about that particular McDonald's is that they have an indoor playground. That is an activity in and of itself. They all loved that - even Sabrina. You can see in the below photo that a random, very sweet and well-meaning girl, was trying to adopt Sabrina as her own charge. Sabrina didn't much like being picked up and moved around. I guess she would say that having 2 older sisters that do that is more than enough!
