This was awesome! Grapeland is a Miami-Dade public park and for $20 the four of us got to enter and enjoy the four different zones of the water park (actually we never made it to the swimming pool). The girls had a great time and like going to the beach it seemed like a much longer time than what it really was. By the time Sabrina was about ready to mutiny (having skipped her morning nap) we were fortunate enough to have dark clouds roll in. I say fortunate because at the first sign of lightning the park was closed BUT we received a rain check to return another day within a calendar year for FREE! That is double awesome!
Sabrina liked the shallow areas where she could crawl/float around. Actually she liked all the areas.
Who doesn't like water slides? (Turns out that it isn't nearly as much fun with two kids on my lap, with all that weight pressing down on the seams and bumping my elbows.)
The first ride on the Lazy River ended with Emma falling through the tube and Lorelei swimming out of hers to rescue Emma so the second time around Lorelei and Amelia rode together and Emma rode with Lindsay.
We were all tired out and ready to rest at home.
